Speaker: Dave Marcheskie, Senior Community Relations Manager, Constellation
As we celebrate our 75th anniversary, we continue to reflect on the PR lessons learned from our area’s history. A partial meltdown of the TMI Unit 2 on March 29, 1979, was a major turning point for crisis management. The proposal to restart Unit 1 to power Microsoft CoPilot offers a significant opportunity for PR pros to see, in real time, the challenges that exist in shifting public perception for a strategic outcome. Dave Marcheskie, senior community relations manager for Constellation, will discuss strategies for reputation management, community engagement, brand communication, and leveraging media relations to obtain the desired outcome.
