Graphic design is often mistaken for decoration—but in reality, it’s a powerful driver of strategic communication. In this session, More than Pretty Pictures: How Graphic Design Powers Strategic Communication, we’ll explore how intentional design choices influence understanding, shape perception, and motivate action.
Participants will learn how visual systems, typography, color, layout, and hierarchy work together to clarify messages and reinforce strategy across platforms. Through a deeper dive into one organization’s story, this session will demonstrate how graphic design supports branding, storytelling, accessibility, and decision-making—far beyond aesthetics alone.
