When COVID-19 hit last year, government and public health officials had to make very quick decisions and institute sweeping changes to our daily lives. At the center of all those changes was data.
Now, it seems like our entire world revolves around dashboards: number of cases, hospitalizations, vaccination rates, and more. It has been important information during this critical time. But how much data is TOO much data?
We know having the right statistics is critical to our decision making during or outside a pandemic, but sometimes it’s hard to sort through it all and determine how to use it strategically. How do we make data relevant to our audiences, and how can we better use it to target and support our communications?
Learn from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania’s Chief Strategy Officer & Senior Associate Provost Dr. Sue Mukherjee as she explores and shares examples of strategic use of data and the role of dashboards and other data presentation methods to communicate numbers effectively.
