What moves you? Gives you the goosebumps? What makes you feel something? Why do you laugh, cry, rejoice? If you know the answer to these questions, then you understand what lies at the heart of all great stories. Our March PPRS meeting speaker, Kyle Cooper, marketing technology coordinator at Members 1st Federal Credit Union, says: “That’s what I go out in search of every day. Give me a raw, natural moment, and I’ll give you a story you won’t soon forget.”
Okay, but, how does this apply to your business, non-profit or brand? Well, chances are, you’re already doing it in some capacity.
Join us on March 18, 6:30-7:30 p.m.,* as Kyle helps us dive into some of the core principles of storytelling, how to find and mine stories that connect, and why empathy might be your most powerful tool.
* Please note: Any members or guests who would like additional networking time are encouraged to join at 6:15 p.m. for some breakout sessions and speed networking! This is a great opportunity for jobseekers and new members to connect with other members.
About Our Speaker
Kyle Cooper, Marketing Technology Coordinator
Members 1st Federal Credit Union
First and foremost, I’m a dad, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. The person I am today is the sum of those relationships. A Pennsylvania native, I grew up outside of Reading before becoming a proud Elizabethtown College Blue Jay. I enjoyed 16 years behind the lens in broadcast journalism. That career path afforded me the distinct privilege of meeting thousands of interesting people and telling their stories over that time – from interviews with Bill Gates, presidential candidates and Hall of Fame professional athletes to the 8-year-old girl collecting spare change for her local Humane Society. My work has been nationally broadcast and recognized for excellence. But, in March 2019, I took an offer I couldn’t refuse in joining the Marketing team at Members 1st, and it has made for a seamless career transition.
