Suzanne Graney, CFRE, executive director of Four Diamonds, has been selected as the recipient of the 2022 Ernest R. McDowell Award.
The award recognizes individuals for sustained excellence in the field of public relations, in both the profession and the community.
Suzanne is a dynamic non-profit leader who has raised nearly $200 million in one of the nation’s top peer-to-peer fundraising programs. She is known for her personal brand of “Heart and Smart” leadership – combining empathy, enthusiasm, and data to drive remarkable results.
Her positive spirit inspires a team of outstanding professionals who work with her to empower approximately 100,000 youth and young adults in the fight to conquer childhood cancer, including the students she coaches who run the Penn State Dance Marathon (THON).
The Ernest R. McDowell Award was established by PPRS in 1991. The award is presented in memory of the late senior vice president of marketing and corporate relations with Capital Health System.
Suzanne will be honored at the 2022 PPRS Evening of Honors, scheduled for Nov. 2. More details and registration will be available soon.
