Park Inn By Radisson 5401 Carlisle Pike Mechanicsburg, PA 17050

Last year, ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” visited central PA to change the lives of the Keefer family in Etters with a renovated home to better accommodate the needs of son Brian, who was paralyzed from a gymnastics accident. Spearheaded by Musser Home Builders of Dillsburg, with the support of Extreme Makeover and hundreds of volunteers, the project resulted in a fully-accessible home for Brian, including independent living quarters. The rebuild received significant media coverage before, during, and after, and was embraced by central PA residents and businesses. Join our panel of experts who were instrumental in the success of the “Extreme Makeover” project to learn about how public relations played a role from start to finish. Jeff and Beth Musser are the president and vice president of Musser Home Builders and oversaw countless aspects of the project, including fundraising. Soni Dimond, communication coach, publicist, author and global media relations specialist, was the local media consultant for “Extreme Makeover.” Bob Manbeck, public affairs manager for United Water, will discuss the role utilities had throughout the project.
