Join us for a NEW time and a NEW program as we welcome the media to a morning PPRS meeting on June 28 from 8-10 a.m.

We will begin with networking and a hot breakfast, followed by a panel discussion with media representatives from several area outlets about trends in the industry, how PR pros can better work with media, and advice for the ideal pitches. 

Panel participants will include:

  • Paul Vigna, Enterprise Manager, PennLive/The Patriot-News

After the panel, we will put their advice to work in a 30-minute speed pitching session. Have a story you're looking to pitch? This is a FUN opportunity for PPRS guests to practice their pitching skills and pitch real story ideas – in 60 seconds or less – to the participating media of their choice. It will be time out of the office well spent, as you may come away with a big media hit! We've invited over a dozen local outlets to participate and will update the attendee list on the PPRS website.

The event will be held in the Giant Food Store Community Center in the Camp Hill Giant. Guests enter the Community Center via an elevator located in the front of the store by the Marketplace Cafe.

  • Members/Students: $25 (+$1.06 online transaction fee)
  • Guests/Non-members: $35 (+$1.35 online transaction fee)

Reservations made online will be charged an additional online transaction fee.
